ABOUT ME
Farah Al Ghafoor is a psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the UK, with clinical experience across both the UAE and the UK in public, private, and inpatient mental health settings. I work with children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of developmental and psychological challenges.
My clinical experience includes supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, learning and developmental disabilities, mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and substance use issues. I have a particular interest in working with adults dealing with depression, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). In these cases, I primarily use structured, evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused strategies to reduce symptoms and improve daily functioning.
